Counselling for children with additional needs/disabilities
We provide specialist counselling and therapy for children/young people with a range of additional needs/disabilities. This ranges from supporting students with moderate learning disabilities in mainstream schools to those with Profound & Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD) in special schools.
Our team of mental health professionals can tailor support to help children whatever their developmental age or disability, enhancing their emotional wellbeing and their abilities to enjoy and achieve at school. We have staff that are trained in Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) and Makaton.
Thanks to our impressive track record in 2011 we were commissioned by the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames to deliver therapeutic services to children and young people with additional needs/disabilities and their families throughout this borough. We are currently based on-site at Strathmore and Clarendon Special Schools as well as at the Croft Centre.
