Mental Health Trainer Vacancy

We are seeking an experienced trainer to deliver bespoke mental health training sessions for teaching staff based in primary and secondary schools across London Boroughs north and south of the river Thames, Hertfordshire and Kent. The aim of these training sessions is to help enhance school staff’s abilities to identify and support pupils with mental health needs.

You will be joining a dynamic organisation with over 25 year’s experience of working in mental health.  Currently we deliver professional counselling and therapy services on-site in more than 80 community schools, faith schools and academies.

ConnectEd is the delivery arm for the mental health services provided by the Catholic Children’s Society (CCS), a registered charity that supports disadvantaged children and families of all faiths and none.

The ideal candidate will be a self motivated individual with experience of delivering training packages to schools.  You will have also have extensive experience of working in a clinical capacity as a qualified mental health professional e.g. psychologist, mental health nurse, counsellor/therapist.

A current driving licence and use of a car is necessary.  The post can be based at our office in North Kensington W10.

SALARY: £36,705  pro rata.
HOURS: 21 hours per week (3 days a week during term-time and during half terms, but not during any other school holidays).
