Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS)

Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service. The multi-disciplinary Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service offer general assessment, treatment and consultation at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. The department also provides an outpatient service for complex cases. The multi-disciplinary team includes Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists, a Family Psychotherapist, Child Psychotherapists, a Social Services representative, and an Art Therapist. Child and Family Consultation Service. This is a multi-disciplinary and multi-agency community team offering both a specialist and a generalist service based in Chelsea. It serves the population of South Kensington and Chelsea and South Westminster. The areas of specialist intervention are family therapy and family work with parents and children under five years. In addition, the team offers early intervention work in schools, liaison with social services teams, and joint work with other professionals, work with Looked after Children, services for refugees, services for children whose carers have mental health problems and children who have suffered from abuse. Marlborough Child and Family Consultation Service. The Marlborough Family Service offers a range of out-patient consultative and treatment services for children, adolescents, adults, couples and families with personal or behavioural problems. Marlborough Family Day Unit and Education Centre. St. Mary’s Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service. The age range is 0-18 years. Counselling Services
