Counsellor / Play Therapist / Creative Arts Therapist

 We have an exciting opportunity for you to join ConnectEd, one of the largest providers of therapy services to schools in London. We are currently looking to recruit enthusiastic and motivated Counsellors / Play Therapists / Creative Arts Therapists to fill the below vacancies:

PRIMARY SCHOOL

  • One day per week at a primary school in Harrow (HA1)
  • Two days per week at a primary school in Hillingdon (UB7)
  • One day per week at a primary school in Ealing (UB1)

SECONDARY SCHOOL

  • Two days per week at a secondary school in Kensington & Chelsea (W14)

The successful applicant(s) will:

Possess a qualification in Counselling, Play Therapy or a Creative Arts Therapy (We require at least a Level 5 qualification or above)

  • Have completed a minimum of 100 clinical hours
  • Have experience of working with primary and/or secondary aged young people, whichever is relevant to the post being applied for
  • Have a good understanding of educational settings
  • Hold membership of an appropriate professional body (BACP, BAPT, BADth, BAAT, BAMT etc.)
  • Where applicable to your qualification/training, be HCPC registered or professionally accredited (or actively working towards accreditation).

Salary: £30,614 to £34,450 based on working five days (35 hours) per week, term-time only.  The salary will be paid pro rata in line with the number of days per week you are contracted to work.

For each one day per week post an additional one day must be worked annually during the school holidays.
